We know what quality sleep should be. Quality sleep means we get the recommended amount (or as close as we can manage). We fall asleep within the first half-hour of going to bed and wake up just once per night, drifting back off with relative ease.
A lot of us seek nature. The air, the quiet, the solitude. Of course, “nature” could mean many things. The salty air and sandy expanse of a beach, the ultra-focused thrill of a mountain climb, an afternoon paddling across a lake.
That discomfort is resistance. Resistance to change is completely understandable in many cases, especially when we lose something. The hurt that results from that resistance may be necessary for healing. But no matter what happens, we have to accept that things are changing.
