The Best Free Yoga on YouTube: 4 Flows to Try This Week

Like many mindfulness practices, yoga can be done anywhere. It can be as easy or as challenging as you like, take as little or as much time as you have, and happen any time of the day or night.

You get many of the same benefits as meditation with the added bonus that it could help you lose weight.

There are plenty of yoga flows available online completely gratis. So many, in fact, that it can be difficult to choose. Here are some of the best free yoga on YouTube to get you through the week.

Yoga to Reduce Stress: A 30-Minute Slow Flow by Jessica Richburg

If you want a stress reliever that’s a bit more active than yin or restorative routines, this super-stretchy slow flow is where it’s at. You’ll stay close to the ground for almost the entire 30 minutes, stretching every part of the body.

That said, the shoulders and the hips may benefit the most, especially if you’ve been at a desk all day. There’s a long savasana that’s perfect for transitioning from a hectic day to a peaceful evening.

Stretch, Reconnect, & Start Your Day Right: A 30-Minute Morning Yoga Flow by Boho Beautiful

This morning flow is perfect if you wake up sore or want to get more morning movement but aren’t a morning exerciser. Juliana takes us through a short run of stretches before moving into a moderately-paced vinyasa sequence that leaves you primed and ready for the day.

You’ll move through a lot of classic postures in 30 minutes with a short savasana at the end that can double as a brief morning meditation.

Yoga for Negative Emotions: A 50-Minute Vinyasa Flow by Ali Kamenova

Stress, anxiety, worry, sadness - sometimes we can feel it right down to our bone marrow. But this vinyasa is a miracle worker at clearing it. Make a little time for Kapalbhati pranayama, as well as plenty of twists and core work. You’ll feel much more capable of regulating emotions by the end, especially if you can stay present through Ali’s insightful talking and a peaceful savasana.

The flow is suitable for all levels and modifications are easy to make throughout. For a little extra healing, close out the session with your singing bowl.

All-Levels Circulation: A 20-Minute Yoga Flow by Cat Meffan

Working at a desk is a common reason for an overall sedentary lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t busy. Fight the effects of non-stop sitting with a highly efficient and effective 20-minute circulation flow.

Instructor Cat Meffan uses lots of circular movements to blow the dust off joints as well as some gentle inversion to get the blood moving in new directions.
